Hello Panthers!
We are halfway through our online learning journey and getting closer to summer break! This week, we will be creating using printmaking processes. Printmaking is an awesome way to experiment with lots of different materials, mediums, and objects to see what cause and effect learning looks like in art. Different from drawing or painting, printmaking produces multiple finished art pieces but allows students to quickly revise or improve their artwork.
Some of the best printmaking materials are often things found around the house (toys, cars, legos, vegetables, blocks) or recyclables (plastic lids, toilet paper/ paper towel rolls, cardboard, bubble wrap). Dig through and gather lots of random materials before staring your printmaking journey!
As always, have an awesome time creating this week and don't forget to upload and tag your artwork images on our Instagram page!
