1. When creating formulas, remember that every formula must start with an = sign.

Example: =B4+B5 (if there is no equals sign, your formula will not work)

2. To print with formulas showing:

Click Tools on the menu toolbar

Click Preferences on the drop down list

Make sure the view tab is selected

Check the box next to formulas

Click ok

Your formulas should now be showing on your spreadsheet!! (don't worry if your formatting has changed a little, it will go back when you turn your formulas off)

3. If you wish to print with gridlines:

Click File on the menu toolbar

Click Page setup from the drop down list

Click the sheet tab

Check the box next to gridlines

Click ok

4. To center a title across your spreadsheet (do this as your absolute last item):

Type your desired title in cell A1

Highlight cell A1 and continue highlighting across to desired cell (ex: A1to D1)

On the formatting toolbar select the merge and center button (has a capital letter A in it with two arrows pointing in).

Your title should now be center over your spreadsheet
